Langford Stuber

Founder & President

Langford founded Chalk Hill Ventures in 2019 after spending 10+ years in the real estate and construction industries at various companies. At Chalk Hill Ventures, Langford is responsible for sourcing new development and acquisition opportunities and oversees capital markets activities. 

Justin Walker

Partner &
HEad of development

Justin Walker joined Chalk Hill Ventures in 2019 to oversee and lead the Company’s development and investment transaction activities. Prior to joining Chalk Hill Ventures, Justin spent seven years as part of the Real Estate Specialties Group at Bank of the Ozarks (now Bank OZK).

Robert Baughn

HEAD OF CONSTRUCTION

Robert Baughn joined Chalk Hill Ventures in 2022 and oversees all in-house construction and third-party construction management related activity. Prior to joining Chalk Hill Ventures, Rob was at Square One Consultants and Flintco Construction, after serving nearly 15 years in the U.S. Army.

Langford Stuber

Langford founded Chalk Hill Ventures in 2019 after spending 10+ years in the real estate and construction industries at various companies.

 

At Chalk Hill Ventures, Langford is responsible for sourcing new development opportunities and overseeing capital markets activities. Langford was previously a partner at DT Capital Group. Prior to DT Capital Group, he was a Senior Vice President (Originations) in the Real Estate Specialties Group at Bank of the Ozarks (now Bank OZK). Prior to joining Bank OZK, Langford worked for Dominus Commercial in the investment sales group and Walker Engineering as a project engineer. Langford played college baseball at Princeton University, graduating in 2010. He and his wife Leigh have two daughters, ages 3 and 1, and live in University Park. 

Justin Walker

Justin Walker joined Chalk Hill Ventures in 2019 to oversee and lead the Company’s development and investment transaction activities.

 

Prior to joining Chalk Hill Ventures, Justin spent seven year as part of the Real Estate Specialties Group at Bank of the Ozarks (now Bank OZK). In his role at Bank OZK, Justin structured and closed more than 150+ commercial construction and bridge lending facilities totaling in excess of $12.5 Billion. Justin played collegiate baseball at Texas A&M University where he graduated with his Bachelor of Arts (Economics) and Master of Science (Real Estate). Justin is a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker and, in his free time, you can find him enjoying golf, hunting and fly fishing.   

Robert Baughn

Rob joined Chalk Hill Ventures in 2022 and oversees all construction related activity. In prior roles at Square One Consultants and Flintco (110 year old full-service construction company operating in 35+ U.S. states), Rob managed a variety of projects, ranging from suburban multifamily developments to complex projects such as Indeed’s Domain Tower and Gateway projects (over 500,000 SF of tech office in Austin, TX) and Seaholm Residences (30-story, 280 unit high-rise condo project in Austin, TX), as well as a wealth of other projects. Prior to entering the construction industry, Rob graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and spent nearly 15 years in the U.S. Army, serving multiple tours in Iraq, and is a recipient of the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. Rob also graduated from Baylor University with a Master’s Degree in Business and resides in the Austin area with his wife and two sons.
